Choi Hung Estate
This is the famous rainbow building of Hong Kong! I'm sure you're familiar with the colorful building blocks and basketball court.
Monster (Yick Cheong) Building
This is the other famous Hong Kong spot. Transformers had taken a scene here! It epitomizes the dense architectural and cultural phenomenon of HK. When you get out of the subway, you'll see the super tall building marked on the map, just circle around until you see a narrow hallway that lets you into the courtyard. Please also be courteous and quiet in taking photos to not disturb the residents.

Lok Wah Blue Tunnel
What used to be a casual playground tunnel became a hit spot for photos with the perfect lighting and shadows. This is within the parking lots and the best time for photos is around noon or right after.
Sai Wan Swimming She
It's not actually a swimming spot! It's a tiny pier that leads to nowhere but makes for an excellent photo.
Nam Shan Estate
Also a normal residence building with colorful walls and playground. This spot is especially magical when it rains a bit and have a water deposit on the ground, makes a mirror image of the building behind.
Lai Tak Tsuen
One of the spot I really wanted to go to! The circular building is of a soft pink and looks really cool. Movie Ghost in the Shell had taken scenes here before. Again, don't bother the residence here when taking photos, the building is guarded so kindly let the guard know that you just want to take some photos. If they won't let you in... come back another time! A lot of tourists come for photos but it is a private residence, so please be understanding.
Jockey Club Innovation Tower
Dreamy modern archetictual wonder. So clean and bright!
Ping Shek Estate
I had heard about this spot not being as cool as the photos look, that many on IG are heavily edited. And to be honest each photo come out more or less the same so it makes even less appealing 🤔 But nevertheless, if you're in the area, go check it out!
Temple Street Market
When I went to Hong Kong I had specifically looked for the night neon signs... but people said because of the light pollution a lot of the signs are not allowed to be light up on some days 🤔 I haven't been to this exact night market, but if you go to the top floor of this garage building you can get a great view like these below!.
Kowloon Peak
It is quite a bit of a hike to get to this photo spot. It is suggested you go with someone that's familiar with the land. Sometimes also known as suicide peak.... but don't be scared by the name! The view is breathtaking.
China Hong Kong City
This building is less known and not AS popular as some of the other spots, it isn't nearly as crowded and is beautiful at sunset time. Expect glimmering golden hues.
Bonus: if you're a kpop fan, you'll see pretty much all of the spots above in Got7's music video You Are:
